Come along to our Compassionate Communities Conference to share, learn and discover how the health and wellbeing of citizens can be transformed, particularly in relation to serious illness, end of life care and bereavement.

The conference will be unique and electrifying. Fantastic, well developed examples of compassionate cities will be presented, transforming the experiences of death, dying, loss and care giving for everyone, with no one left out. International leaders in the field will present examples from around the world, clearly showing that what binds us across the globe is our basic human goodness which is vital at end of life. You will leave feeling inspired and enthused, seeing how an international movement can be applied at local level.

In addition to the programme we are organising a couple of local events as part of the conference. For delegates arriving on the Monday we will be arranging a tour of the National Memorial Arboretum (https://www.thenma.org.uk/ ) and dinner in Lichfield City, To take part please select 3 day ticket options. On the Tuesday evening we will be having a BBQ at Spring Slade Lodge along with a walk on Cannock Chase an area of outstanding natural beauty (wet weather plan in hand) – if you want to participate in this but not the Monday evening event, please select our 2 day ticket options ‘with social event’. There is also a 2 day ticket option with no social events.
